This website provides a variety of information about the FACIT Measurement System. About FACIT includes a welcome statement, an overview, a list of frequently asked questions, and our contact information. View questionnaires includes a list of all available FACIT scales and corresponding language translations, as well as the option to view and download actual questionnaires. Questionnaire specifics provides information regarding format, modes of administration, patient burden, populations, applications, and guidance on selecting and implementing a FACIT questionnaire. Validity and interpretation covers a variety of issues related to scoring (including scoring templates and computer programs), the reliability and validity of the measures, effect sizes for power calculations, and information on interpreting scores. This section also includes references for FACIT validation articles and other relevant literature. Translation methods and services covers our translation philosophy and methodology, available services, references, licensure requirements, and language translation status for each FACIT questionnaire. Registration and requests includes our formal user agreement, and is where you can request information and register your use of a questionnaire. Most sections of the website are available to the public free of charge. A few sections, however, involve a fee for access. Alternatively, you can purchase a CD ROM or hard copy of the FACIT manual (generally equivalent to the materials that are provided on the website when full access rights are obtained).
