FACIT TRANSLATION METHODOLOGYAnyone interested in developing a new translation of a FACIT questionnaire must first contact FACIT.org to determine the availability of FACIT Translations and to find out the status of any translation(s) in progress. We strive to keep our language availability information on the website current, but it may not always reflect the most recent changes or developments. FACIT.org must give permission before any work on the translation of a new subscale can begin. Our official FACIT Translation Methodology by which all FACIT measures should be translated is available in PDF format. The FACIT Translation Team must be consulted regarding the methodology, at which time we can explain the various steps in the process. There are several steps in which we must be involved and which we must approve before a translation is considered finalized and can be used in research.
