Overview
Not intended for use as a standalone HRQL measure, the FACT-LUI is a preference-based multi-attribute utility instrument (MAUI) which converts FACT-L scores to utilities. The items from the FACT-L have been reduced to a smaller number for preference-based valuation techniques, resulting in 7 dimensions: fatigue, cough, shortness of breath, anxiety, nausea/appetite loss, depression and pain. These 7 dimensions are common to non-small cell lung cancer patients.
